Corn Salsa

Description
A fusion salsa!
Ingredients
  • Boiled corn (i used frozen - 1 cup)
  • Chopped jalapenos - 2 tbsp
  • Chopped red onion - 1
  • Salt to taste
  • Chaat masala - 1/2 tsp or to taste (an indian spice mix used in popular indian street food & other indian dishes)
  • Cumin (jeera powder - 1/2 tsp or to taste)
  • Some chopped cilantro (coriander leaves or parsley)
  • To Serve
  • Buttered & crisp toasts or baked tortilla chips
Instructions
  1. Toss all the ingredients from corn to parsley & serve with toasts or tortilla chips.
  2. {We had them with buttered toasts lathered generously with cheese spread and having this made us forget all the gloominess that had dawned on us seeing the cloudy sky!}
Note
May replace jalapenos with chopped green chillies.
May drizzle 1/4 tsp lime juice for some tangy flavor.
